The Pro-poor Growth and Promotion of Employment in Nigeria programme- SEDIN, implemented by Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationalale Zusammenarbeit(GIZ) GmbH and funded by the German Federal Ministry of Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), aims to foster employment and income of MSMEs through enhanced entrepreneurship skills, better targeted business services, improvement of business environment and improved access to employability skills.
The approach of this program aims to provide returning migrants, internally displaced people (IDPs), unemployed youth and women, with the ability to strengthen their existence in the Nigerian MSME (Micro , Small and Medium Enterprises) sector, as well as providing skills for employment. The program integrates capacity development at the individual, organisational and societal levels which were designed to ultimately result in greater participation in the economy. HBF was assigned CREATE module which provides  Entrepreneurship knowledge  to help participants develop a concrete business idea and also the START module which provides Business start-up support including registering a business, developing a viable and bankable Business plan, imparting knowledge on business administration and requirements, coaching for a successful start up.
